CEMETERY REGULATIONS:

1.  Ask monument dealer to inquire about regulations for your particular cemetery
2.  Confirm ownership of site and location of site with the cemetery caretaker

3.  Ask if there is a perpetual care fee

SITE LOCATION:

1.  Would you want the last name on the back of the monument due to its location in cemetery

2.  Is there a slope to the ground where the monument will be placed

3.  Is the site a single, double or family lot
4.  Is the single site double depth

STYLE AND GRANITE COLOR

1.  Walk through cemeteries and take pictures of monuments you like

2.  Go online and look at images of monuments
3.  Are you matching a family monument that already exists

4.  What granite color do you want

DESIGN COMPONENTS

1.  Walk through cemeteries and take pictures of "details" on monuments that you like

2.  Do you want a term of endearment
3.  Do you want sandblast carvings or laser etchings

1.  Do you qualify for a free Veteran's marker or  medallion

2.  Can you locate the deceased's DD 214 paperwork
